Susan started the appointment by asking if I was there for birth control and tubal ligation options. I corrected her and told her I was only there for a tubal ligation consultation which is what I told the appointment taker and the nurse before Susan. Susan spent an hour explaining birth control options to me despite me telling her I’m not interested in birth control at all. In the end, she denied my tubal ligation, and spoke with her colleagues who she stated also wouldn’t do the procedure for me. She asked to see my back in one month and when I asked if she would deny me again she just sat there. Upset is an understatement. She told me it’s ultimately my decision to get my tubes tied and then told me she thinks I’ll regret it so she won’t do it.
