Dr. Susan Ondak, MD

Very good and thorough. Good Doctor.

Dr. Ondak is awful. Horrible bedside manner. Rude and impatient. Quickly entered the room, didn’t introduce herself and began throwing a bunch of medical information at my MIL who was on pain meds and sleeping when she came in. Dr. Ondak explained they would need to transfer my MIL to Kaiser by ambulance. I asked if she had to go by ambulance and she rudely turned to me and said, “What other way would you suggest?” I said I could drive her. She said that would be bad medical practice to allow a critical patient to walk out of the hospital but my MIL could go ahead and leave AMA (against medical advice) her choice, her life. I told her it was a question and we would obviously be following the direction that was provided. I told her she had horrible bedside manner and she became angry and said she didn’t like the way I was speaking to her and left the room. She didn’t allow my MIL to absorb any of the information or ask any questions. If I could give zero stars I would.

We saw her at Roseville ER, she was very passive-aggressive. When I asked a question she had this look on her face like she had no time for it. When I was unsure about a treatment for my son she said, "why don't you want to help him?" And "why don't you want him to get better?". Due to she our initial experience was horrific. Everything could have been done the exact same way but with kindness and reassurance, and that would have made all the difference. She needs some help herself.

Listened to my concerns, ordered tests to check my condition. Was attentive to questions and treated me like a person, generally seemed to care about how I was feeling ( both times I went to the ER). Was patient and caring and very professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend her.

I would never recommend Ondak Susan Elizabeth. Yesterday I was at ER at Roseville she was so rude with smiley face. I am so sad that Sutter has doctors like she is. I will never go there anymore. Also she didn’t help me with anything. She was trying to kick people in different direction to done with her patient as soon as she can. I never seen as horrible customer service

NO BEDSIDE MANNER and treated me like a drill seargent. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
