Appointment was very brief but covered all concerns. Appointment was timely, a little ahead of schedule

Dr. Richman is the best hands down. I’ve been seeing her for years now and she’s one of the only Dr.’s I trust. I was very disappointed to learn that a “chaperone” had to be present during my annual gynecology exam today. Such a shame that we as women need to feel uncomfortable during our medical visits because of the health systems legal problems. I hope that Yale realizes what an uncomfortable and frankly violating situation you put your patients in when you mandate an unlicensed / untrained staff member to partake in a health exam. The mistake of a small group of people should not have direct consequences on those who are ethical and trustworthy. Also patients like me who already have anxiety about going to the doctors shouldn’t have to suffer because of other people’s experiences. Very disappointing on your behalf Yale..

Dr Richman is an excellent doctor. She always keeps the atmosphere light, but is able to address serious topics with sincerity and kindness without judgement. I always feel heard and that my concerns are addressed. She also makes time to call her patients personally to discuss things you may not need to come into the office for. I switched to her from another provider in the same practice, and that remains one of the best decisions I’ve made for my healthcare.
