Great bedside manner, compassionate and determined. Dr Nicholson did an emergency surgery on my father on July 22 that lasted 8 hours. She came out to keep us informed of my dad's status which was not good. We could see the depth of her care, concern and compassion while she conveyed bad news to us. She along with all the staff in the ICU at University were so kind and warm in their attempts to comfort us. After my father passed away she remained near by and gave my mother and I genuine hugs of comfort. I know she and her surgery team did everything they could possibly do to save my dad and it meant so very much to me to feel and see the compassion from her and the team. I am forever grateful.
