Dr. Suzanne Tormoen, MD

My sister was in Thomas Hospital after receiving blood transfusions in the emergency room. Dr. Tormoen was the hospitalist who stopped by after I requested to see a doctor as we had several questions. I can think of no other words than “totally unprofessional.” She had printed out some information from my sister’s chart and gave us the copy. The first sentence read PROGRESS NOTES SECOND VISIT. That was untrue. This was the first time we laid eyes on Dr. Tormoen and the patient had seen no other doctors since leaving the emergency room for a regular room. On a scale of 1 to 10, her bedside manners were 0. My sister’s other doctors are excellent in every way and we are so grateful to them.

She is very helpful, thorough, to the point and businesslike. Kind, as well — thanks!

My mother has been a patient here for a couple of years. There are very few staff members and they are almost impossible to reach by phone! Forget trying to be seen quickly if you are sick. I have accompanied my mother to her appointments several times and we have had extended wait times. An hour or two is typical. It is truly astonishing that she can keep patients. My mom is finally transferring to a new provider! She stayed basically due to the convenient location.

Very personable provider with patients. Provides each and every patient individualized care, attending to each specific concern. Office staff including Nurse Practitioners are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Tormoen is an expert in dietary needs. I highly recommend her practice.

My father can never get calls back when he leaves messages. They have NO communication with each other in that office! I would never recommend family or friends to her.

Dr Tormoen is the best! She is very caring and knowledgeable.

Dr Tormoen is my parents' GP. They have both had life-threatening health emergencies and are continually unable to get calls returned from her office - or in to see her when the need has arisen. They have instead had to go to the emergency room. To be ill is bad enough - to have an unresponsive doctor is a travesty. I live out of town and am furious they do not have a doctor who can see them when they are sick!
