She’s Awesome
Dr Lajeunesse has been my gyn for several years and I’ve always felt well cared for. She’s knowledgeable, reasonable and caring. I recently had surgery, a hysterectomy. She was absolutely wonderful! Very careful and skilled. She explained everything so we could understand both before and after the surgery. She made sure to understand and respect my wishes and went the extra mile in that regard. I would very highly recommend her! And as a side note, the nurses at the hospital had nothing but praise for her - and as my friend who is an RN says, nurses don’t hold back their thoughts and certainly would never praise a doctor unless they honestly felt that way! And that is high praise indeed!!

I don't feel that Dr. Lajeunesse listens more than what she has to to type in her visit notes on the computer. You tell her you have an issue, she types it up but does not talk to you about it. I had to ask 3 different ways to get an answer to the pain I have been having and was told take Motrin. She could not care less, literally in and out in 2 minutes. Depressing and disappointing.

I love Dr. Lajeunesse. She makes the appointments feel easy and relaxing. She remembers so much of what I talk to her about, even though it's usually about a year between my appointments. Dr. L is friendly and professional, and I always look forward to seeing her.

Worst experience with a doctor ever. 55 min wait to see her, with no apology or explanation offered. I am a first time mother at my 1st ob-gyn appt . She gave me no information and offered no advice. The one medical concern I had was addressed with "oh, that's okay" before rushing on to something else. I had to Google information to feel less stressed about the symptom. It was a waste of time and I have no trust in her. Will never go back. Do NOT recommend.

Amazing specialist and the nicest person!!! She didn't hesitate to cancel her Christmas holiday and to come to the hospital to do a total robotic hysterectomy. It was so successful that I was able to go back to work only 2 weeks later instead of waiting for the usual 4 weeks to recover.

Dr. Lajeunesse operated on me in the ER so I didn't have much choice in doctor. I followed up with her afterwards to remove the stitches. Most of the cuts had healed well, except for the large center one. I asked if it was too early to take the stiches out of the center cut because it hadn't healed yet. She said it was fine, proceeded to take out the stitches, and the cut gaped wide open. Now I have an unnecessary scar on my abdomen because this careless doctor took my stitches out too early

Scarred Patient in Buffalo, NY – Jan 01, 2017

Dr. Lajeunesse does not listen to her patients. Dr. Lajeunesse orders unnecessary tests targeted more to protect her legally and disregards results for pertinent test. She does not follow up with test results or care that needs to be monitored. Frustrated from all appointments with her over a three year period. Time to leave. Since then I found out she no longer practices at that location. Sadly I was not notified by my doctor that she was moving to another practice. developing cancer???
