Worst office ever
The staff and doctor are extremely rude. The office cancelled my daughter as a patient because she asked them to call our insurance company to straighten something out after we called the insurance company and they said they needed an approval from the doctor. The office never answers their phone so we were stuck going back and forth with messages and when we finally spoke the conversation was cordial but then they dropped her as a patient claiming the rapport between doctor and patient was no longer good. We were literally told they don't have time to call people's pharmacies and insurance companies all day long. So much for patients' needs!

This was my first visit to Dr Kochar, I found her to be caring and compassionate. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Dr Kochar took time to assess and address all my concerns, answer all my questions, and put me at ease. Two of my friends are also patients of Dr Kochar they recommended her to me. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great endocrinologist.

Wants us to see practitioner only
Yes, doctors must protect themselves from covid. If they are sick, they cant help patients. However, Dr Kochar appears to be avoiding patients. My husband is a diabetic with many serious disorders. We have been with Dr Kochars office for weeks and havent even met her. I respect a good nurse practitioner, but they just arent the same. By law, the doctor is supposed to closely supervise a practitioner. For my husbands last appointment they told us Dr Kochar would be out of the country. She may have gone home for Christmas, but his life depends on keeping his blood sugar levels right. There is no excuse for this behavior. I will ask to speak to the office manager.

I'm the caregiver-not the patient, giving me a different perspective. I've told many people that the Cancer Center is an awesome full service facility. My daughter's primary doctor was Dr. Kochar. I was pleased to see her interaction with my daughter-listening carefully AND addressing her concerns and fears. Dr. Kochar would sit down & review tests, bloodwork etc. getting very close & face-to-face with her, drawing her into the discussion and answering all of our questions. EXCELLENT DR!!
