My infant was very sick and had a temp of 104. I brought him in that morning, and she called to check on him twice during the day. When I spoke with her the 2nd time about his high fever she directed us to go to Albany Medical Center. We were taken in right away despite a long wait, and while in the ER, Dr. Mitta called the ED Physicians to check on him. The attending came into our room and was so impressed that she had called and said it is very rare to get a DR. that checks on their patients.

My child had a major asthma attack while on vacation in Florida. Dr. Mitta called us daily to check in, she had us hold the phone to my child's chest so she could listed to her breathe. She showed compassion and care that are rare to find these days.
