Dr. Syed Tirmizi, MD

Try to find anyone else to care for your loved ones. He’s exceedingly rude and just dropped care because he wasn’t feeling appreciated! His exact words! He was being paid by the insurance so I don’t know what exactly he wanted. He never updated me, or sent out appropriate tests. He was also part of Brotman Hospital disaster

Dr. Tirmizi barely took any time to listen to why I was in the office and ended up re-injuring me as a result. He didn't even take the time to take my vitals. The doctor's assistant actually listened to what my injury was/how I got it before the doctor came into the room and when he tried to explain it to the doctor, the doctor disregarded his input and chose a quick solution which led to him re-injuring me during the appointment. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend him to anyone.

When I moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago Dr.Tirmizi became my PCP. In the last 5 years the service of care has gone down considerably. I had to walk out of one visit because the staff didn’t know how to operate the equipment properly. Very difficult to deal with prescriptions and billing. They are shady.

Medical staff does not do their job well been waiting two months for them to fix an authorization constantly getting rushed off the phone and the staff member for Dr tirmizi is hardly there have called at least 5 times where he wasn’t there and he is the only person that can do what I need constantly saying he has submitted but when I call days later they say they haven’t received anything or talked to this staff member I just feel like it’s poor execution with the staff I came to this doctor for a sleeping issue he provides me with the authorization I need but the company doesn’t do rental machines all I needed is them to send a different authorization to my insurance then I can get my machine but it’s now two months since I’ve talked to the doctor.

Dr. Tirmizi has been a pleasure to know. Great guy and caring to me and his other patients. He is incredibly knowledgeable and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Dr. Tirmizi made a heartbreaking month of my grandfather being in the ICU and his eventual passing more difficult for my family and me. He was almost impossible to reach, his office assistant Danielle is the rudest woman I’ve ever spoken over the phone with, and we felt no empathy or care from him beyond a business transaction.
