Rapid tapered me on benzos
There are FDA guidelines for deprescribing benzos. No more than 5-10% cuts every 2 to 4 weeks. He cut me 45% in less than 4 weeks and treated me horribly when I asked if I could go slower. I was having acute withdrawals from such a rapid drop in benzos and all he wanted to do was put me on a bunch of SSRIs and anti-depressants. He has ruined my life. I was told on my first visit from the NP under him that we can try his plan and if it doesn't work out we could possibly try my 'proper' taper plan I already had. He even took a picture of it and everything. When I came in and said his method wasn't working, this doctor Zaidi came in and doubled down on his taper plan. He treated me horribly and would just keep talking over me. He ended up writing me my last script and told me to find another doctor.Maybe he is a good doctor for other things but he does not know anything about deprescribing benzodiazepines and had no interest at all about my health or how I was feeling.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Zaidi for several years , after coming back to Gaineville, GA. From living away from our home town , we had to get new Dortor and we choose Dr. Zaidi , we are so pleased with how he has always found the correct diagnose and treated it and we have always gotten better. He also gets you. To the specialities we needed in good time. He knew exactly what was wrong and without hesitation he would send us to the ones we needed to see. Dr. Zaidi is a very knowledge
