Do not recommend
Dr. Hossain was contacted multiple times (after seeing me in the hospital) by my surgeon to schedule a special endoscopy for me after I was discharged from the hospital . She would tell my surgeon she'd be contacting me to schedule the procedure but never did. I suffered over a week waiting for her call that never came, even after my surgeon spoke with her multiple times. I'm now having to go to the emergency room to have the procedure done by another GI. I've never been treated so poorly by a Doctor, so unprofessional!

Dr. Hossain is amazing, calming, soothing and compassionate. She listens to your concerns and symptoms and explains the plan she thinks is best suited for you. I highly recommend her, I live close to Queens and the drive was well worth it. Her staff is just as amazing as her.

I have seen other GI docs before and Dr. Hossain is the best. She is incredibly caring and truly wants her patients to feel better and succeed. She explains things very well and lets you participate in your health decisions. I have full trust in her and am very comfortable talking with her about a condition that is very uncomfortable. I am grateful to be her patient.

I would never recommend Dr. Hossain to anyone. I made an appointment, she called and cancelled giving no reason. I rescheduled for a few months down the road, her office just called and cancelled again giving no reason. This procedure requires two people to coordinate their schedules and so when Dr. Hossain cancels with no reason, it is very frustrating. I asked to see the other doctor in the practice and was told they do not transfer patients. Dr. Hossain only saw me for a consult yet I cannot be transferred to the other doctor in the practice when she has cancelled twice for no reason? Ridiculous.

Dr. Hossain is amazing. She always made time to see me, I know to this day she cares about my wellbeing and wants to see my health improve. From my first visit with her over 5yrs ago when she told me we will do whatever we need to do to figure out what is going on with you, I knew she meant it.. she has kept her word. Her bedside manor is compassionate. I wish there were more Doctors like her, she truly is in this field for the right reasons.

Dr. Hossain is super knowledgeable, down to earth, and thorough. She is positive and uplifting and has a great energy about her that makes you feel like she is not just in a rush like many other doctors. I felt really comfortable talking to her. I would highly recommend her!

Dr, Hossain is a brilliant and caring physician with a wonderful bedside manner. If you have any apprehension in regard to getting a colonoscopy, you will kiss it goodbye with the initial consultation. Dr. Hossain will provide you with pain-free piece of mind.

Thorough, patient, and gentle. I was able to do my endoscopy without anesthesia, and gain the insights from participating in the exam. I would recommend Dr. Hossain without any hesitation.

I had been seeing the same gastro doctor for many years I was ready to find a gastro closer to my home since I see a gastro often with my condition. I was very relucdant to change but once I meet with Dr. Hossain she made me very comfortable and was understanding of my issues. I am very happy I found her.
