Dr. Sze-Wei Shimizu, MD

Went to this doctor and just wanted to reiterate that my experience with her was one of the worst experiences ever. I had upper abdominal pain for the longest time and came to her in hopes that she would run some diagnostic tests to help treat the issue. However, I was brushed off repeatedly with the statement 'you have depression, take some pills for that and you'll be okay'. Those depression pills became dangerous quickly and made me experience an all time low that I have never experienced. She never checked up on me to see whether I was okay. This was only one instance as the next instance was when I got a pap smear and the test results came back. I had an ovarian cyst and she did not even bother to go over the results with me when I asked. She just had a nurse tell me that she was occupied and that she won't be reviewing with me. The nurse didn't do a good job either with answering the questions so I had to bring my results to a different doctor in which I ended up needing surgery.
