I can't imagine what, where or with whom the 1-star reviewer documents in her 2-3-24 review. Nor can I imagine what she could have done to Fatima, one of the sweetest and most caring providers I've ever known. to upset her so if that was indeed what happened. More likely the reviewer is unwilling to accept her own responsibility for what went wrong that day. I don't care if you work on the moon, everyone can take an important call from their doctor's office during working hours. Dr. Newsome is a consummate professional, smart as a whip and a kind and compassionate physician. He, with Fatima's capable assistance, has been treating me for years and obviously, I trust him with my life.

My experience with Dr. T. Newsome's office staff was terrible. They were highly aggressive and harassing. Fatima, one of the staff members, called me several times, threatening to cancel my appointment if I didn't confirm it immediately. I work from 9 am to 5 pm and can't take calls during working hours. So, I called after 5 pm and spoke to the call center to verify my appointment. I had initially scheduled and confirmed my appointment using the 'Healow' system, so I was confident that it was confirmed when I received two emails stating it was. Took the day off from work. However, when I arrived on time for my appointment, to find out the appointment was canceled, the front desk person asked me to show the emails. And much to my surprise, Fatima yelled at me, calling me a liar in front of everyone. I was distraught and felt disrespected. I chose Dr. T. Newsome's office because my oncologist, Adventist Cancer Center, practices there. But the staff's behavior, Fatima, was unacceptable.
