Dr. Tad Sprunger, DPM

Dr Sprunger did a Big Toe Fusion a few years back. I.am able to walk a minimum of 5 miles a day pretty much pain free. He is the best!

Wonderful combination of skill and care. Help me out a bunch with a nice staff and easy to get in for appointments. Breath of fresh air.

He is amiable, explains well and doesn't rush doing so. For me, he addressed the infection brought about by my first surgery with another doctor. He also was able to take out the hardware on my outer ankle that would not heal and causing pain. Dr. Tad Sprunger for me is the cream of the crop! The best doctor I have encountered in my lifetime! I had severe great toe pain and was looking for a better solution than a toe fusion procedure. After much research, I settled on the Arthrosurface ToeMotion implant device. I’m a patient @ Mayo Clinic & have spent most of my life back & forth with Drs due to autoimmune diseases . Had previous foot surgery with another surgeon & thought I’d have to live with that pain along with the rest . Dr. Sprunger performed several surgeries on my foot & he”s Very personable & even though his office is packed he makes you feel as if you”re his only patient @ the time . Can’t thank him & his caring staff enough .

Thanks to Dr. Sprunger I'm still playing tennis at age 62. He performed my ankle surgery for a talar dome lesion nearly 10 yrs ago. My ankle is doing amazing! I was very skeptical my ankle could ever heal 100% at my age, but it really is 100%. I've played a lot of high speed tennis since 2009, and the ankle is holding up great, which is more than I can say for my shoes.

We've had two experiences with Dr. Sprunger. The first was with my daughter. Dr. Sprunger was the only Dr. who was able to heal a sore that had developed on her heel. He also performed bunion surgery on one of my feet and everything has turned out great. He's personable and listens to you. Nor does he mind taking time to answer any questions you have. Great doctor!

Dr. Sprunger repaired my foot after two previous failed surgeries (other doctors). He stays on the cutting edge of latest surgical techniques. One of the few physicians that perform 1st MTP joint replacement in Michigan.

Dr. Sprunger performed 2 toe surgeries on my foot. Originally, I had surgery performed by a completely different dr., not from Performance Orthopedics. That dr. made a mess of my toes which left me in serve pain. I was extremely worried that I would have to live with this pain, until I met Dr. Sprunger through a former patient of his. He performed a complicated surgery to repair the damage. It was not easy, but Dr. Sprunger pulled through for me. Thank God for Dr. Sprunger!
