Dr. Tae Yu, DO

I went to him with extreme cervical neuralgia that was causing migraines like headaches and auditory processing problems. He took a look at my chart and proceeded to inquire about my psychiatric conditions instead of my severe neck pain. He then proceeded to tell me I'm just having migraines..despite having already tried NUMEROUS migraine meds which only exacerbated the pain. My husband and I told him it's not migraines, it's my neck...he insisted it wasnt. Told me there's no reason to suspect a neck problem because my X-rays looked normal. He also said my hearing problem was unrelated (the hearing thing only happens when my neck is like this) He sent me home with migraine meds, which again made the pain even worse..LIKE I TOLD HIM BEFORE. We insisted on a MRI but found out he ordered one of the head, not my neck. So, I went to see one of his nurses who thank God actually gives a darn about me and she requested a MRI of my neck. Turned out I have an extrusion of my c6-c7 vertebra

Dr. Yu is very caring and compassionate. And his PA, K. Jackson is awesome. I usually see his PA, and I can’t stress enough how amazing she is.

We just moved to the Perry, FL area. My wife has several health issues and one being she needs regular care for her pacemaker. She spent many hours getting records and the sort from our previous location sent to this Dr. And after anxiously waiting for their response they left a voicemail saying they declined to take her as a patient. Wife then called their office, said the same thing and would not tell her why they declined her. Would not use a Dr like this.

First visit with this physician who related well. Good listener. Great explainer.

I strongly recommend Dr. Yu for medical care. Dr. Yu stays current with his training and is very intuitive with his insight of medical issues. Dr. Yu listens to his patients and does not give you the impression that you are taking up too much of his time. Dr. Yu is available day and night. If the medical condition calls for it Dr. Yu will not hesitate to refer a patient to a highly skilled specialist. Dr. Yu is well known and respected in the Tallahassee and Gainesville medical community.
