Not sure I would recommend
Dr Chung’s bedside manner isn’t the best but I was more concerned with whether his skills as a surgeon were good. I had a hernia repair and asked whether he would use mesh or not and he said he wouldn’t know until the surgery. He wasn’t able to tell me how the surgery went when I woke up. He didn’t use mesh and I never seemed to feel 100%; now 3 years later I have another hernia in the same place. So I’m not sure I would recommend him.

Dr Chung has been so caring through out my treatment. Dr Chung is very professional with excellent bedside manners. His office staff is also top notch at the Mission Bernal Heights campus. Anytime I have questions or concerns both Dr Chung and is office staff were there for me. Because of his caring nature and highly skilled hands I can just focus on healing. Thank you so much Dr Chug.

Dr. Chung essentially saved my life; after other doctors had been unable to make the correct diagnosis or provide treatment, he did so quickly and accurately. I would highly recommend his care and services to anyone.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Chung?
Dr. Chung was more concerned with how tired he was after a day of doing surgery, and how quickly he could discharge my son from his service, rather than the fact that he was in severe and debilitating pain. I can't vouch for his skills in the operating room, but I can say that his bedside manner is awful. He is gruff and uninterested in his patients.
