Exactly what I want from a Doctor
Anyone reading these reviews should take the negative ones with a grain of salt - it's human nature to leave a review when we're unhappy, but rarely when we're happy, so reviews are usually skewed toward the negative. Also, in my more than 50 years of studying personality and conflict resolution, I've found that often people get back what they project out, and too many walk into a doctors office ready for battle, thinking they know everything after reading one article online. Jeesh. IMHO Dr. Rahman is an EXCELLENT doctor - she's professional yet still warm and friendly, very knowledgable, and approaches wellness from a whole-body perspective, exactly WHY I insist on only seeing a DO, and never an MD. She spent a lot of time listeneing to me, asked great questions, and we discussed my options including what I was willing or capable of, and what I was not. I am giving Dr. Rahman a 5-star rating because she deserves it.

This person has a horrible attitude and is very rude. I just got done having brain surgery and decided to go in to see her because my dr was not available today. Wrong move because I started telling her why I was there and she cut me off and started talking. I told her she was rude and told her I was done with her. Walked out of the office with my walker and all. Someone like her should not be in this field helping people.

Chastising, Defensive, Arrogant, Indifferent
“Dr. Rahman” had a hostile, horrible, antagonistic attitude towards me from the very outset of my recent appointment with her. I note that other reviewers expressed the same negative experience with her.She chastised me and gratuitously said that the doctors who had previously provided medical care for me between 1982 and 2022 “had done me a great disservice.” When I told her that I was of the opinion that my previous doctors (Dr. Jim Doris; Dr. Jackie Doris; and, Dr. Woellner) were excellent medical professionals, she became even more dismissive, condescending and chastising. I found her criticism and arrogant demeanor to be even more surprising and disrespectful given her medical schooling at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. There was no basis whatsoever for her hostility and indifference during the appointment. She refuses to listen to the patient.I cannot recommend in any stronger language that you NOT SEEK MEDICAL CARE from this doctor.

Seeking respectful care provider
She spent a great deal of time chastising instead of asking questions about how I’m doing and why I’m having to see so many different doctors or visiting the ER several times over a two month period of time. Upon leaving the exam room I listened to her demeaning me to her staff. As an African-American patient who sought to receive care from someone who is culturally sensitive to my needs this individual failed. I’m currently seek a new PCP this doctor was more concerned that insurance was attempting to communicate with her and couldn’t reach her. Feeling disrespected and unheard I’ve spent the last week searching for a new provider who possesses the maturity and experience or values the people she is treating. I do not feel comfortable nor trust receiving treatment from someone who talks down or is dismissive of my needs. Her support team do not return calls or go over any labs or medical results, it’s a guessing game and my chart is a nightmare. Referrals in notes, not in referrals.

Took time and very kind and helpful
She is very upbeat and enthusiastic about helping you. I appreciate that she is an osteopath, which requires more education about nutrition rather than just pushing pills.

Good doctor's don't allow bitter employees to interfere in, delay, and otherwise manipulate for their own amusement the care of the patient. Telehealth calls 90 min late. Tells me to sit tight and wait for authorization from my insurance company for a procedure, I wait and wait and call and wait and eventually call my insurance to see the hold up...No Auth Required! Try to get the results, schedule an appt weeks out just to show up and have the Dr not show up. Referrals promised in 2 weeks take 8 weeks. The doctor will tell you to continue taking your medication but won't give refills. The office just tells you to be patient for days on end only to tell you at 430pm before vacation that you need an appt for the refill. Something that could have been said originally to avoid withdrawal symptoms. Irresponsible and unsafe. My health has gotten worse just from her being my doctor. And Native Health employees and nurses are evil and couldn't care less about your care.
