Dr. Nguyen takes care of my 2 toddler children. Dr. Nguyen appropriately screened and referred my younger son to specialists. Even when there were no developmental deficits, she had him sent to neurology and he quickly had brain surgery to prevent brain damage. My niece and nephew now see her. She is kind and compassionate and SMART. She is the best Kaiser pediatrician we have found, and my husband and I are both healthcare professionals. We gripe about the Kaiser system sometimes, but Dr. Nguyen is world class. We are forever grateful to her for appropriately screening and sending our son and saving his life.

She has always been kind and friendly to kids. She takes the time to get to know them, ask them questions, and listens to them. She is also very quick to respond to messages.

We had a horrible experience taking our newborn to her. . First off our initial appointments were short lacked any compassion and felt like she was just in a rush. When we were at the 3 week point for our daughter it was clear she was not gaining weight fast enough The DR did not make a game plan did not give instructions just set up multiple weight checks with phone apps after. The Phone apps were brief judgemental and rude. Our new pediatrician is the polar opposite. Don't see her!

Sent the kids in for shots and a wellness check. It was obvious she is a new doctor, everything was fine with no problems. My problem with her was she didn't come off a genuine. She didn't seem to listen and gave blanket PC responses and made her seem like a fake type of person. Hopefully experience and remember she became a doctor to connect with and help people. I'd still recommend her though because bedside and ability are two different things. Ability is most important.
