Dr. Sonn 'delivered' my child. She watched a resident do it, allowed the resident to avulse the umbilical cord, and then tried to coach the trainee through trying to extract my placenta until I was so uncomfortable and had to ask her to take over. Would not recommend. She never returned to check on me or discuss the implications of this complication

Dr. Sonn has fantastic bedside manner. She does a fantastic job at creating a true patient-doctor team and has always taken the time to thoroughly explain all of the options available in the situation. I will always appreciate the fact that she really listened to my wishes and helped me avoid a c-section with my youngest even though it wasn't the easiest option.
