Absolutely the Best!
Dr. Zahirpour and her staff are very nice, thorough and make you feel like they really appreciate their patients. I feel completely taken care of and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Don't trust her for medications
After 10 months of prescribing a necessary medication correctly, all of the sudden, she arbitrarily decided to change the prescription to a lower, useless dose. She lied and said she never prescribed it correctly (questionable why she'd lie since the pharmacy has the receipts to refute her lie). She didn't provide notice that she was changing to a lower dose at all. I only discovered this from checking the pharmacy. SHADY. Now I will run out of this necessary medication because she provided no notice and I can't find a new doctor in time before I'll run out. Considering medication management is extremely dangerous and important, I would NOT trust her with your health.

I felt like a cattle assigned to a lazy doctor
I checked with the front desk 10min late, was instructed to wait in the lobby, 15min later was told that she could not see me since the appointment time slot was going to end soon. It was supposed to be a simple appointment for an insured healthy young adult to have some preschool forms filled out by a doctor. I was late because i was filling out the gigantic questionnaire of seeming-unrelated questions they sent to my email, which seemed to be a routine requirement prior to the appointment. By the way, the UCLA primary care front desk in mindanao are like robots. I felt like being treated as a cattle in factory.

Dr. Z is the best.I have always hated seeing doctors but she is very personable and she makes me feel at ease. She seems very smart and analytical.

Dr. Zahirpour is one of those rare doctors who personally engages with you and makes you feel like she is 100% on your side. She wants to get to the answers and is very determined to help. She is the best doctor I have ever visited and I plan to continue to utilize her expertise and her enthusiasm for good health for a long time to come.
