My 3 children have been coming here for years. Today will be the last day we attend this office . They are down to 2 Dr’s so they don’t have appointments for your children. You have to call the morning of to see if there’s anything available (there’s not!) They are working through lunch per Dr.Rackley and it shows!! They seem overwhelmed and frustrated as if you brining your sick child is a burden. I will relieve you of 3 patients. Choose another physician for your children!!

Called the office at 8:20 am to see if my son could be seen as an acute care visit. Waited almost 7 hours for a call back from the office to be told that Dr. Rackley recommended over the counter medicine and if the symptoms became worse to go to the emergency room. Luckily, I took my son to an Express Med where he was tested, given a steroid shot, and cough medicine. Took less than an hour to be seen at University Express Med Clinic. Will definitely be looking for a new primary care doctor as this is not the first time we’ve had this issue.

My husband took my daughter in for a skin rash. Dr. Rackley looked at her for all of 5 seconds and diagnosed her with eczema and prescribed a steroid. We all knew it was not eczema, but trusted the doctor anyway. My daughter’s symptoms increased significantly with the steroid causing her more pain and discomfort and she missed several days of school. I finally took her to a specialist who diagnosed her with a completely different skin condition that was nothing like eczema and couldn’t believe Dr. Rackley gave us a steroid for it. I voiced my concern to the office manager who spoke with Dr. Rackley. She proceeded to lie and say that she warned my husband the steroid would cause a worse infection which was absolutely not true. Not only did she not care enough about my daughter to thoroughly examine her and provide the correct treatment, but she lied about it when we expressed our concern and frustration. Needless to say we have removed all of our children from her care.

My issue is with primarily the staff. We waited for over an hour to receive shots for my son, only to be told that they were out of that type. They sent us to another clinic only to wait another hour. All this time to simply receive an antibiotic. Is it really this difficult to get a kid a shot for a pre diagnosed illness. Time take that will never be returned.
