Dr. Tara Rizvi, MD

I am sure Dr Rizvi is great for many of her clients, people in the waiting room were happy to be there and to see her. However, I was given less than 10 minutes to explain serious health problems and she walked out of the room suddenly and did not return. She seemed overwhelmed with appointments, so it felt like I was ignored as soon as she suspected my issues were not rheumatological. She said she couldn’t investigate my physical health problems until I saw a psychiatrist, and when I explained I was having seizure-like episodes, she asked me if it was caused by abusing drugs. As a young woman, I am used to doctors brushing off my health, but I am disappointed considering her credentials.

Office and virtual visit waits used to be lengthy. However, changes have been made in the past year and the office is running smoothly now. There seems to be extra assistants now which helps as well. The assistants to Dr. Rizvi are kind and knowledgeable, and do a very good job of tracking the patient’s medical details. I believe these changes have freed up Dr. Rizvi to be able to use her time and her knowledge more effectively and efficiently with her patients.

I was very pleased ,she explained in detail my condition and treatment plan, every time I have called for a concern or question they are prompt in returning my call and always get thru to someone , some other Dr offices are hard to get thru or put you on hold forever or take too long responding, so for that thank you

I couldn’t be happier with my first visit with Dr. Rizvi. I’m from Phoenix, AZ. I found Dr. Rizvi online and was impressed by her experience and credentials, so I emailed the office to see if she would be willing to do a video appointment. I was so surprised to see and email back from them at 10pm saying that, not only could the do a virtual appointment, they had a cancellation and could do one the next day. At the virtual appointment, Dr. Rizvi was very attentive and spent nearly an hour of her time with me. She asked many questions to make sure she understood my symptoms clearly, and had an answer for all of my questions. She was clearly knowledgeable about how to approach the chronic illness I’ve been dealing with for the past two years and was able to put a plan in place for going forward. I would highly recommend Dr. especially for autoimmune illnesses which can be complex to figure out and treat. I wish every doctor out there could be more like her!

I would not recommend this doctor to any one. She books tons of appointments, as a result she would not give the patients enough time. I have a meeting with her scheduled at 4:40 pm (follow up meeting over the phone). Her assistant called me 4:50 pm to inform me that Dr. Rizvi will call you shortly. I have been waiting for over 1 hour without any luck. She finally called me around 6:00, but I was not able to take her call since I have another meeting scheduled at 6:00, she send me a message to tell me that my lap test is not normal and there are some concerns. I replied to her to put me in an other appointment and let her assistant send me the date and time, unfortunately she just ignored me. I don't understand how a respectful doctor would ignore a patient who has up normal lap results. Its worth to mention that I went through some websites to read about her reviews before I decide to chose her, obviously she doesn't deserve the 5 starts ratings in those websites.

Warm and welcoming as always. She LISTENS and gives you time to explain what your needs are and then goes to great lengths to meet them.

Dr.Rizvi is a kind and compassionate doctor! She took time to listen to all my symptoms and not just blow me off. I am so glad I chose her to help me with my problems!
