Caring and respectful
I’ve used Dr. Winchester for the last 11years. She’s seen me through 2 babies and delivered one. Having a traumatic first birth, she was unfortunately on vacation. But with my second child, she listened to all my concerns, made me feel safe and secure. Although she’s super busy, and I see her NP more often than her. She always attends the important visits, and is always very respectful.

Rushed and dismissed
I have been a patient for the last 2 years. Everyone highly recommended her because of her outgoing & compassionate attitude. My 1st appointment met those expectations, but my annual this year unfortunately did not. My husband & I are considering starting a family soon, so I had a lot of questions regarding that as well as questions about breast reduction surgery & the effects it may have with having children, breast feeding, etc. She first dismissed my questions about the breast reduction & told me just to schedule with a surgeon for that & ask those questions there. I didn’t think much of it. But when we discussed how my husband & I want to start a family but have some fears& risks about my health & safety during a pregnancy, due to potential government changes that may affect my reproductive rights, she quickly dismissed my fears & gave me the blanket statement of “There are no risks” in a annoyed way before she quickly exited. I came for reassurance but left invalidated instead.

3rd (at least) strike
I've been a patient of hers for years. The last couple of years have gotten so bad. Most recently, I called to make an appointment for a problem I was having. At my visit, the office was full but the wait wasn't so bad, considering. When Dr. W came in, she blew in and out like it was nothing. She didn't ask what my problem was, she talked real fast and started to walk out the door when I stopped her and asked about my problem, she NEVER stopped to look at my issue, she just said it was fine. How was it fine when she didn't even look? I had to call again and again to get a refill just to be told by the front desk that I need another visit to get a refill! They don't have MyChart to communicate, they may be taking on too many patients, but this is unacceptable. This is not an isolated incident, it has been increasingly getting worse and I will be looking for another provider. Maybe it starts with the front desk and they need more competent staff? It's nothing more than an assembly line.

Awful
I made a well visit appointment for my 20 year old daughter. I found out they don't do exams until they are 21. Was charged over $100 for nothing!

Have been a patient for 3 years. Appointments are very rushed and it’s hard to get scheduled. Had a hard time getting her to explain things, procedures because she is always rushing. Changed to new Gyn.

Dr. Winchester is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about her. I came to her after having a terrible experience with a different GYN who was so careless with her patients. I had health concerns in the past that weren’t currently affecting me and just mentioning it to Dr. Winchester along with my family history made her immediately do an ultrasound and run bloodwork. She did both the day of my very first appointment. I didn’t need to worry about scheduling another time or going to another office because they provide all services there. She really listened to what I had to say and took the time to explain everything to me. She is wonderful and I’m thankful I found her.

Dr. Winchester seems to have too many patients to give each patient the attention they need. I felt as though she hurried through all my appointments. Not looking at my biopsy results until I was in the room with her. She never cared to explain anything to me just told me what she was going to do...not giving me a reason as to why....I called the office bc I was experiencing some alarming symptoms after a procedure and never had my call returned...i ended up having to go to the ER.

It took me three weeks to get an appointment with this doctor even though I was having menorrhagia. The night before my appointment I had to go to ER and Winchester was called. I was released to go directly to her office only to have her staff tell me she had canceled because she had a birth. She left no instructions to her staff to add me on the next day or ASAP. I was offered an appointment a month away! Her staff had no compassion was very rude. The office manager was no help either.
