The best!!
Dr Ammar came to see me before my actual colonoscopy, answered my questions and made me very comfortable-the same after the procedure. Due to me being anxious about my biopsy results, called me on a Sunday and discussed the report in detail. How many doctors go out of their way on the weekend to get in touch with you?? Not many. But Dr Amman did. He’s a keeper.

Due to a family history of gastro problems, I have had to make relatively frequent visits to gastroenterologists for several years! Although I have visited a few different GE doctors, I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Ammar. He is a genuine doctor - not only very knowledgeable of his field, but will take the time to actually sit down with you and listen to your concerns, without leaving his other patients waiting for hours! He is also very personable and “down to earth”, a wonderful quality not always found in physicians! Have recommended him to many people!

I was referred to dr Ammar due to constant vomiting after eating. I had a CT scan done prior to going to him. A dark spot was observed. After having a colonoscopy & endoscopy performed by dr. Ammar, I was told by him there was nothing wrong with me, just few polyps removed. Even though I had told him I was vomiting every other day. Long story shortened, about one month later I was in a hospital having a cancerous blockage removed from my small intestine that I believe he failed to find.

There aren't enough characters available to tell my whole story-but the summary is this: Don't expect to be seen sooner than 6 weeks out-too bad if you are in extreme pain and the ER can't help you. If you are cash pay, you will be asked to make a $100 deposit just for the privilege of making an appointment for six weeks out that you CANNOT GET BACK EVEN IF THEY DON'T SEE OR TREAT YOU. Don't expect any compassion or assistance from the office staff. They don't care about your health, they want $

Didn’t wait at all they called me right away! His nurse was very friendly, he is very kind and a good listener and he cares about his patient and he answered all my questions, he did spend enough time in the room with me, on top of that he have a happy smiley face and a very nice Doctor. I went to 2 other doctors before him just wasn’t happy with the attitude and the personality of the other doctors.

Your message was relayed to Dr. Ammar. Mr. K has advanced liver disease so needs to see and get managed by a liver disease specialist that's why Dr. Ammar arranged for the referrals for Mr. K to be seen by liver disease doctors. Loma Linda University Medical Center has a liver clinic locally here in Las Vegas and has expertise in managing patients with advanced liver disease such as cirrhosis, which Dr. Ammar explained to Mr. Krugler in the hospital. Next day office said it was a mistake.

He is very honest, polite and courteous. He was able to fix things other gastro doctors could/would not. He spend as much time as needed to explain everything. He is wonderful! Because of him, I am able to drink and eat again.
