Friendly surgeon
Meeting with this doctor was wonderful! He is smart, driven, and genuinely wants the best for his patients. Depending on an individual’s co-morbidities, he may or may not recommend surgery. This does not make him incompetent, I personally would prefer my surgeon to use diagnostic testing and I trust what he feels is best. Dr. Musonza has my recommendation for all my friends & family!!

Reconsider going here
The first two times meeting with him I felt unheard. He lacked empathy and belittled me. I’m also someone who struggle with the healthcare system for years so going unacknowledged yet again was disheartening, but most male surgeons/practitioners are like that towards females. Had I been a male I’m sure he would have helped me. He made me feel like what was wrong with me wasn’t the case, I was sent in for MRI and it came back with exactly what I said was wrong, he told me to think about surgery and if it was the right fit for me. I decided I wanted to move forward and instead he backed out saying he wasn’t confident in his abilities to do the surgery so I wouldn’t recommend someone to him for the simple fact he lacks confidence in himself. Which says a lot because he is a “trauma surgeon”. A bit scary.
