Amazing Doctor
I was recently talking about my daughter's birth & realized I never left a review for this specific doctor. Six years ago I was a pateient at UPMC Hamot Erie & was at my weekly appt with Dr. Tawsufe Majid since I was weeks away from delivery. I expressed concern to him that my stomach looked different and felt different. He did an exam and decided to have an ultrasound to get a look at things considering she may be breech. They didn't have any available slots for a few days but he told the office he wanted my appointment within 24hrs. Thank God for his persistence, I went in to my appointment the next morning and was an immediate admit with induction. My amniotic fluid was critically low! My daughter was born healthy 24 hours following my appointment. If it wasn't for Dr. Tawdufe Majid, I am not sure the outcome would have been the same. He listened to my concerns & acted on them. He is a wonderful doctor and will always be part of my daughters birth story.

While doing a routine cervical check, he decided to sweep my membranes without talking to me about it first and obtaining my consent. I would have appreciated more communication as it came across surprisingly disrespectful and uncomfortable.

Had to have emergency c-section. Passed out in office within in hr baby was born I could tell the whole office was on their toes. Worried about baby and myself. Didn't mean to cause a fuss but glad it happen at Dr office. Fast,foucus,professional. My mother said she likes him to so that say alot! Can't wait til my next appt!?
