Dr. Taylar Childress McKeithen, MD

2017, i was about 24 weeks along when my water broke it started off with just a small leak & when I first noticed I called and told Dr. Childress what was happening, she told me to just lie down it’s no way my water broke if so I’d be soaked from the waist down, I was very concerned and I asked her should I go to the er I was told no, I was going to be a first time mom so despite better judgement I listened. I was dismissed like she literally rushed me off the phone. About 2 hours later my water broke fully so I called her back & she told me, if you are not completely soaked from the waist you don’t need to worry this sometimes happens until I told her I AM sure I am completely drenched down to my socks. She then told me to come in. It was already to late at that point my water broke fully and there was no fluids to support my baby so I had to deliver my baby so I lost him the next day. I will not recommend her. Some are only for a check not because they actually care about the patient

She did a good job of explaining what was going on but, she seemed to be in such a rush. By her being in a rush, I didn't even want her to see me

Dr Childress is such a kind and knowledgeable doctor. She explains things in detail and spends time making sure her patient's understand what is going on. Her nurse is also kind and really great at returning calls and explaining things. This is a great office with great staff!! I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Childress McKeithen is an Excellent Provider!! She made my first childbearing experience a Great Experience! I highly recommend her and her staff to provide excellent care! She is Very Knowledgable in her field and she answered every question along my pregnancy journey with Great Expertise!

She is an awesome Doctor. I am a first time mom with prior miscarriages. She does great at explaining everything and allowing me to ask questions as well. My husband is in the military, Dr. Childress has done an amazing job to fit us into her schedule before he deployed and even revealing the baby's gender before deployment. We need more caring doctors like her.

There is no better obgyn I could have chosen. After losing a child previously being scared to even think of having another child, I went to dr childress for my year annual. I was preg. I didn't think she would have been my ob, from the first visit she made me feel like everything was gonna be ok. She was the best, and still is. I tell everyone how great she is! She was always on top on things making sure my baby and I was doing well. My family is so blessed for dr childress!! - Mary witty
