Dr. Garcia isn't warm or bubbly but she knows her stuff. I had a high risk pregnancy. I was unfortunately put on bed rest and even spent 1 month in the hospital. She came to see me often at the hospital. Her approach of strict bed rest was criticized by other MDs but I trusted her and her recommendations the whole time. Yes she made comments that weren't necessary to make a point. My baby made it all the way to 39 weeks! (bed rest at 21 weeks). I needed a c-section and am so glad she did it and not some random doctor who I didn't know. I'm very grateful everything turned out well and baby and I were safe. I will continue to have her as my OB since trust her judgement and recommendations. Her office team was super helpful as well with everything I needed.

Dr.Garcia delivered my first baby he was delivered healthy and naturally which I am so grateful for, but my issues were with Dr. Garcia she has no bedside manners . To start I remember having to wait over 3 hours for her to come deliver my baby because I was told she was on lunch. Then when it came time to delivery she made some comments that you do not want to hear when your in the middle of labor. Every appointment we had was quick she wasn’t too social or friendly she’d measure the baby ask if I had a question and then she’d leave the room. No conversation not too friendly. My spouse felt the same way that she was not too personable and didn’t make it comforting at a time when you need to feel comfortable.

I saw Dr. Garcia on a few occasions before switching over to my current OB. During those visits, I often felt belittled by some of the comments she made. For example, around the end of my first trimester, my husband asked her when I would be getting my energy back. She took one look at me and told him that if I’m a couch potato, I’ll always be a couch potato and continued to compare me to a patient of hers who is an aerobics instructor who never stopped exercising until her 9th month. The comment was rude and unhelpful, as were the majority of her comments. Also, the office is ridiculously disorganized. They scheduled me for an appointment and when I showed up, the nurse practitioner didn’t know why I was there to begin with. Their record keeping is awful and they were generally confused, asking me the same question about 10 times every visit. Lastly, even if you are the first appointment of the day, be prepared to wait over an hour for the doctor to show up and see you.

I wish I had followed my gut and chose another OB! She didn't spend a lot of time with me to answer questions. When my husband was with me she barely acknowledged him. The worst was the delivery which left me hospitalized for 10 days. I don't think I can/should give details, but basically I had a c-section, she damaged an organ, didn't repair it completely, damaged another organ while fixing the 1st one. I ended up with an infection, quarantined, and not able to see my baby. Bad follow up too.

Dr. Garcia performed surgery on me and never came around to tell myself or my husband how it went. We were in the hoospital for 4 hours after the surgery while I recovered enough to go home and she never showed up. I had to email her to get her to respond.
