It's difficult to find medical dermatologists in the area, as most earn more by doing cosmetic surgeries. Dr. Nasabzadeh and her assisstant Emily have been excellent during my two visits.

Exceptional Care and Expertise from Dr. Nasabzadeh
I recently had a great experience with Dr. Teresa Nasabzadeh. Her staff was very accommodating, moving my appointment to an earlier date upon request. Dr. Nasabzadeh patiently listened to my concerns about recurring eczema, asked thorough questions, and prescribed new medications and creams. She even conducted a biopsy for further analysis. Her nurse, Emily, was very helpful with follow-up scheduling, and her team worked diligently to get my prescriptions approved by insurance. Dr. Nasabzadeh is knowledgeable, patient, and takes time to explain everything. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a great dermatologist!

Friendly and compassionate Dermatologist
She has superior knowledge and experience with psoriasis, which is what my visits are for. What is appreciated the most is her 'bedside' professional manner, i. e. her ability to communicate and interact in a way that shows compassion, respect and empathy. Great listener. Also, we appreciated her desire to reach out to my other doctors to collaborate on drug decisions.

Always thorough & accurate
Dr. Terri is a wonderful dermatologist. She is thorough with her screenings and accurate in her assessments. She asks very good questions and always listens, which isn't always the case with many doctors. When treatment is required in her office, she describes the procedure so you can understand why it is needed and how it will occur. If treatment from a specialist is called for, her office arranges the scheduling which is often perforned on site. The office personnel are efficient and helpful. I know that I am always in good hands with Dr. Terri and I feel she always has my best interests in mind.

Dr. Teresa is AMAZING!!
Dr. Teresa is rare gem and I hope she never changes the way she practices!! Being as this office is one of the only dermatology practices that accept Medicaid in the NoVa region, they see more patients than any other, yet they have reasonable availability for appointments, you don’t have to wait months! She’s very smart and knowledgeable and can diagnose very quickly what others have misdiagnosed for years! She has an awesome bedside manner despite being fast paced and will listen respectfully and answer all questions as in-depth as you need! She is conscious of the bad chemicals in most products and is not a brand/med pusher! Her efficiency, bedside manner, and vast knowledge make her a valuable asset to her practice and I hope they recognize that! I’ve only seen her TWICE and the impact she’s had on me as a NURSE with extensive history in dermatologic issues in myself and my family is extremely impressive because I’m also one that NEVER writes reviews! Keep being great Dr. T!
