My experience with Dr. Chen was absolutely amazing. She was so bright and positive, definitely adding cheer to my day! Dr. Chen was very thorough about explaining the whole process of the treatment and always made sure I was on the same page. Everything went smoothly and I am extremely thankful for not only her skillful treatment but for her amazing life advice as well!

Chirpy and bright, Dr. Chen--she’s a delight. You should go see her. I have been seeing Dr. Teris Minsue Chen, dermatologist, approximately every 6 months during the last 3 years. She is meticulous and fun at the same time. In fact, she inspires me to write poetry in the haiku style. Skin have an ouchie? Dr. Chen’s never grouchy. She’s skin care’s Fauci. You have Medicare? You have a skin cancer scare? Dr. Chen, go there! Her name is Minsue. Dr. Chen knows what to do. Skin cancer, you’re through. You got skin cancers? Dr. Chen has the answers. See the doctor! Now! For surgery Mohs On your scalp, forehead, or toes, Dr. Chen, she knows! Dr. Chen loves cats. She always listens and chats. She wears funny hats.

Dr Chen is the most caring and compassionate person I have ever known. She has a wonderful personality and she will feel like a lifelong friend after meeting her. She is an excellent Doctor and always insures her patients are comfortable through any procedures she performs. If you're in need of a Dermotologist for your skin care she is absolutely the best. She's also an excellent surgeon if you ever get the bad stuff.

I recently visited Dr. Chen for a checkup since retired. She spent the time to know my past medical history and answering all my questions without rushing the process. She inspected my body thoroughly with judicious comments and stressed the fact that despite being a surgeon, she would only recommend surgery as a last resort. Her no-nonsense approach is very refreshing and allows her patients to relax and build confidence in her abilities. I would highly recommend her for getting started or to get a second opinion. Dr. Chen is hands down the best dermatologist I’ve ever had! And arguably the best doctor, as well! She caters to whatever contact mode you prefer (which is text message in my case), making appointment scheduling and communication super convenient. There was no wait time, and her approach is very personalized. She took her time to answer all my questions, making me feel comfortable asking things that I probably wouldn’t have asked an ordinary doctor. She really goes the extra mile in caring for her patients and meticulously accounts for all of your individual needs. Dr. Chen is the complete opposite of a “cookie cutter” doctor! She doesn't try to sell you anything, which I appreciate, and she recommended some affordable skin-care products that can be found at any convenient store. She is also incredibly personable and has a great sense of humor. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thank you, Dr. Chen!!!

Dr. Minsue (Big Balls) Chen: is the best skin cancer surgeon in Houston. Her credentials are amazing; she is one very smart woman. Likes to play music her favorite song is Big Balls by AC/DC. Plus, she is one of the finest human beings you could hope meet in your life. She cares for her patients like they are her children. Dr. Chen is a beautiful woman inside and out. You may have to wait a couple of months to become a new patient but it is worth the wait. Jack Gott

I've been seeing Dr.Chen for the past 4 years now and she has changed my life . I suffered from severe acne since I was 14 years old. I couldn't even go to the grocery store without being judge by strangers because of how bad my skin was. I tried everything from different drug store products to proactive and even acne pills and nothing never help my skin. it wasn't till I met her that she found the cure for my face now I can say I have "acne free face" and I could never thank her enough.

Dr. Chen is a gift from God! I was so happy I found her. She was caring and really went the extra mile with my case. (She is just that kind of Doctor.) She really cares and it shows through her actions. I visited her office with the purpose of getting a second option, and I’m so glad I did. My surgery went smooth and healed fast.

Dr. Chen may be the nicest doctor I have ever encountered. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain your exact condition as well as a course of treatment. She offers tremendous advice as well on preventative measures. Overall, I cannot think of a better dermatologist in Houston to see.

Best experience I have ever had with a Doctor

Dr. Chen is a one-man show in her office so be patient. The recording for her line tells you to text and they will reply, it was strange, but it was the best way to make the initial contact. When she called me back (less than 24 hrs) she asked lots of questions about my concerns to assess if I was good match or if I would be better served elsewhere which I really appreciated.

I was referred to Dr. Chen by a family member. I found her website, and sent her a note. I was surprised and pleased when she called me on Saturday. She asked me about my problem, made an appointment for me the following week, and asked me to text her pics of my insurance card. I found her new patient forms online, printed and filled them out. When I had problems getting my referral, she was very positive and flexible. The appt. was a breeze; 3 different skin problems removed, no pain.
