Dr. Terry Baker, MD

I first saw Dr. Baker from a recommendation from another provider for a cyst. He came in did a quick ultrasound and then drained it, we found a small nodule and was told it was nothing. I was still having problems after that, I had to BEG for further testing and found out I was insulin resistant. About 6mo after that I found a lump on my thyroid and I went in and saw him and he did a quick biopsy that was negative. And was told to f/u in a year, a year later at my f/u I was still having problems but he said my thyroid “looked the same” and my labs were normal and was told it was probably my insulin resistance and to f/u in a year. When I looked at my thyroid labs there was an abnormal test result. I asked him and he told me he didn’t know the significance of it to f/u in a year. I got a second opinion a few months later and they did further testing and turns out I have thyroid cancer. Just had a thyroidectomy in Nov 2023. He made me feel unheard and was very dismissive of my concerns.

After numerous doctors and suffering for over 15 years Dr. Baker addressed my problem and corrected it. Can't say how grateful I am. Thank you.

I had an annual visit to check my thyroid. I scheduled the appointment at 9 AM to avoid waiting. I checked in at the front desk and was taken back to the exam room where I waited for the Doctor who was late that morning. He came in in a hurry, did a very quick ultrasound of my thyroid and told me there were no changes and to come back next year. Very impersonal, my time was not important to him. Less than two minutes of interaction with him. I received my bill and I was charged $115 for the “office visit” and $235 for “exam of head and neck”. Today I called to question the charges on my bill and was told that the charge for the office visit was for seeing the practitioner.....apparently walking through this guys door costs that much and any ultrasound constitutes the other charge. Zero empathy for my out of pocket expense and question of “services rendered”. Needless to say I cancelled my next appointment. I would not recommend!

Dr. Baker has always been receptive and attentive to my questions, concerns, and on numerous occasions he's helped me feel more relaxed in his office by helping me, as a patient, feel heard and understood. The front desk has always been welcoming and kind, and efficient at fulfilling their tasks. In several instances, I have already recommended others I know to this doctor, and would do so again.

Dr. Baker was amazing! He went above and beyond for my daughter. Highly recommend him!

Dr Baker has a good bedside manner, is attentive to detail and has caring and efficient staff.

I love Dr.Terry Baker and the whole staff.. They treat you like family!! Dr.Baker is such a awesome doctor!! I've been goung too him about 7 months now, And he's a great doctor, treats you like family...Not like a number as so many doctors do!! I just appreciate him so much.. I haven't had a doctor like him!! He's good at what he does,I won't go too any other doctor!! Thank you Dr.Baker and staff!! ??

My mother is currently a patient with Dr. Baker and he has been wonderful to work with. The worst kind of news has been delivered to us and Dr. Baker has answered and walked us through everything as well as constantly ensuring my moms health is top priority. We are very blessed to have Dr. Baker and trust his word of treatment/recovery. Words cannot describe my appreciation for you Dr. Baker!

Always willing to work with you and if he doesn't know what is going on he will research it or send you to someone he trusts and knows about the problem.
