I will say that not one part of this session followed the ethical principle of “do no harm” to those you treat. Immediately you are met with his aggressive and biased opinion. He relayed he works also in a substance abuse clinic and that seldom does he belive that people’s symptoms are genuine. He specifically stated, “Covid gave everyone adhd,” and shared his thoughts regarding other people’s attempts to medication shop. While reading other reviews, Dr. M is definitely a bully that causes you to not want to share your struggles because he shows no empathy towards anyone. He has quite the narcissistic/aggressive response style, and I was ready to end the session after 5 minutes. He spent nearly all of the 30 minute intake session speaking about how other people have tried to manipulate him for medication and that he is “not that type of doctor.” I can honestly say that the 1 star reviews on here are accurate, and that this man should either consider finding a new career path that does

"I have seen Dr Mak three different times. My most recent was shortly after having my son. I deal with debilitating anxiety and panic disorders and have been diagnosed with severe and severe depression as well as Ptsd. I was desperately searching for answers for my panic disorder and I went in to see him for an appointment during a panic episode breathing in a bag crying because mind you I had been dealing with panic every single minute of every single day with ZERO relief. He was training someone I believe and proceeded to tell me he didn't have time for "this" or me and was very upset. I asked for someone to call an ambulance. He turned to his trainee and said "this is about as dramatic and bad as it gets" and got up and walked out of the room and left in the middle of my appointment. The first time I saw him (age 15) he prescribed me 3 medications within like five minutes of initially seeing me. And not too long after, I tried to overdose. Disgusted and appalled by this man.

He was disconnected with me as a patient. His office is messy and disorganized. He didn't have any tissues in his office and handed me a Subway napkin. He took a personal phone call in the middle of our session. Two stars because he is competent on medications. North Range Behavioral Health is a great organization, and this review does not reflect them.
