I would certainly recommend Dr Aung to friends and family. I have found her to be thorough, responsive, and forthcoming with information. She explains what she is proposing in clear, understandable terms. She is also friendly and open, and makes me feel that she is genuinely interested in me.

Dr. Aung has been my rheumatologist for the past 3 years and she’s been a wonderful doctor. She’s a great listener when I explain to her my pain and symptoms. She always runs and orders labs and test/exams, and she has me on excelente medication. I appreciate that she always responds to my messages in a timely manner. EXCELLENT DOCTOR.

I was referred to see Dr. Thanda Aung at UCLA Medical Center
after I had been diagnosed with IgG4 related disease and high risk
medication use after I saw Otorhinolaryngologist,
Infectious disease, Internist, Hematologist, and Oncologist doctors
in August 2019.
Dr. Aung provided me three medications option informations
regarding use and side effects before she choose Rituximab
solution to treat my IgG4 related disease. Dr. Aung is aways so
patience and expertise. Dr. Aung coordinated with my doctors
(Internist, Infectious disease, and Gastroenterologist) to get
their green lights due to I have high risk medication use problem
before she sent me to have Rituxan infusion.
Dr. Aung always provided me all my blood results and examined
reports very rapidly. She replied me very quickly also whenever
I asked her questions. I am very happy and luck to have Dr. Aung
takes care my disease and my condition is much better which
my IgG subclasses test is within normal range now.

Dr. Aung is an excellent doctor. She is smart and thorough and patient and friendly and a very good listener. She diagnosed a very difficult medical problem I had and is now treating me. She answers all of my many questions and is very responsive to my messages. The treatment plan she has made for me encompasses all the side effects I am getting from my new medications. She’s thinking ahead! She is the best doctor I have ever had.

Very rude doctor. She does not listen to what patient is telling to her. Has audacity. I had very bad autoimmune disease and every time I came she told me to try accupuncture. I needed serious medications to stop my inflammation, but her response was eastern medicine. Every time I went to her, I left upset and not heard. Go to someone who listens to your simptoms and concerns.
