Dr. Thanh Nguyen, MD

I have been with Dr. Nguyen since he arrived in Simi and would not trade him for any other. He always takes time to explain everything and answers all my questions. He has even visited me when I was in the hospital for issues not related to him. Definitely recommend him.

As my doctor I referred family and friend to Dr. Nguyen and in both cases he did not hesitate to act quickly for what could have been life threatening. He literally saved lives. Thank you! And a shout out to Janet! Great staff!

This man may be a good surgeon but his abilities are more than canceled out by his inefficient office staff. Go somewhere else to manage your cardiac issues. You have been warned!!!

Dr. Nguyen played an integral part in the intervention and life saving decisions on behalf of my husband. After suffering a heart attack, it was made clear to us that his main artery was 99% blocked. Dr. Nguyen placed two stents in the lower region, but the upper main artery was where the majority of the blockage was. He was astute enough to see that we needed a specialist. He highly recommend Dr. Kar due to the severity of the blockage and all of the high risk circumstances involved. He Contacted Dr. Kar who specializes in heart intervention. Because of Dr. Nguyen’s actions and professionalism, my husband of 55 years is doing well and in the very best care. To me, Dr. Nguyen is part of the dream team. He is the kind of doctor that displays forward thinking and unselfish recognition. He was compassionate and made sure that our thoughts and opinions mattered. I give him a TEN out of five stars.

He answers questions in detail. Very pleasant to be around. I feel like he cares about me and my concerns/issues. He is a very busy person and can seem a bit rushed, because he is, but he always makes time especially if I ask him a direct question. He smiles a lot and puts you at ease. I feel safe. A lot of procedures are done at his office which makes it convenient, especially for elderly patients. The only thing that would make me want to take off a half a star is that you have to wait forever to get an appointment, which is not always convenient. Other then that to me, his skills are superb and I wouldn’t want any other cardiologist!
