I’ve never dreaded going to the doctor until Dr. Tran. You don’t want to be here, and it’s glaringly obvious he doesn’t either. Being a Vietnamese-speaking patient only helps my case so much before his condescending demeanor inevitably triumphs. I only continue to see this doctor due to conformity of the system, not by will or pleasure. I’m sure he’s contributed tons to the community in the past, but as he currently practices, he is the embodiment of everything wrong with the American healthcare system. Rude, dismissive, and belittling. Respectfully, it’s time to hang up the coat, Doc. For context, I saw Dr. Tran 5x from 2023-24.

Rude and condescending and wasted my time. I scheduled an appointment for a prescription refill and STI/yeast infection testing. I got neither. He told me all I could get was a (very cursory and totally unnecessary) physical wellness exam today, and that he'd need two weeks to get my medical records from my other physicians before he could do a pelvic exam. So I paid $25 for absolutely nothing. And I'm supposed to just live with my discomfort for two weeks for absolutely no reason. He could have absolutely done a pelvic exam without my medical records. He just wanted two co-pays, and don't give a crap that I'm in discomfort. Also, he accused me of being an alcoholic multiple times during my q & a, and asked why I needed an STI test. Why do you think? Oh, and his office front staff had an "EHR Star" sticker above the photocopier and across from their PAPER RECORDS.
