No CARE or Bedside Manner
The office staff essentially stopped my care after I complained of pain on my side following my colonoscopy. It turned out to be diverticulitis and stomach issues that occurred after the procedure. They seemed indifferent to my pleas for help, and I was only able to see a physician assistant who did not provide the care I needed. I had to seek help from another doctor who was able to assist me. I would not recommend her to anyone, and the office staff was also very unpleasant.

pain post procedure
I had an endoscopy scheduled for 9-9-22 with my GI doctor, Dr. Sharma. A conflict arose and Dr. Lucas performed the procedure. I awoke with severe pain in my throat which I have not had before. I asked to speak to her and she was rushed and seemed perturbed that I was asking questions. This was a routine procedure recommended for my age. I have not had any problems before, but now I do. Today is 9-12-22 and I still have pain. Was told they would call me today. Very unhappy with Dr. Lucas, will not let her work on me again.

horrible doctor. She is very smart and educated, but, in my opinion, it takes care and compassion to be a good doctor, and she lacks both of those things. She is rushed and didn't examine me once. Kept complaining of nausea and vomiting and she kept saying it was because of marijuana. When I was rushed into immediate surgery to have my gallbladder removed, I instantly felt better, no thanks to her. If you want good care, this office is not where you need to go. Her nurse has a bad attitude also.

Horrible. She was rushed and her staff at the surgery center was very rude. They talk bout me and didn't know I even heard them. And after the surgery I was very dizzy and I had to yell for help. But no one ever came to help me get dress till end. And they discuss my discharge in the hallway. O one more thing I arrived to have my procedure at 9:30am and left at 4:30 And this procedure was a 30 minute procedure because all they kept saying was we don't know how to use this new system. Whew was i nervous. Horibble horrible horrible. And they gave me a dirty gown

Dr Lucas has been my doctor for a number of years. Even after moving to another county, I still continue to return to her. She sees patients after surgery in the mornings and there have been a few times that I have had to wait past my appointment time, but she has always been friendly and very concerned about my condition. IF I don't understand something, she is willing to explain treatments or tests. Wish all doctors were as good as she has been to me!!!

Dr. Lucas was rushed and was very disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, she came into the exam room and did not even bother to close the door behind her or sit down. When I explained to her that I had some questions about my previous lab results from the visit before, she gave me a very annoyed look followed by a rushed response and again asked me to proceed to check out. She provided no physical examination and did not ask about my condition.

I felt Dr. Lucas to be well informed, patient and communicated clearly taking the time to insure all my questions were answered. My issue required referrals to with other specialist and her office was great in setting them up. Those doctors were also outstanding. I would strongly recommend Dr. Lucas.
