When I awoke post-surgery, the pain was gone and now six weeks later the pain is still gone. Of course there is residual "ouchy" at the incision and where the muscles were cut. Overall, I feel pretty great!

Working with Dr. Belanger was a wonderful experience. He explained my condition (bone spur and cyst in lumber spine) and what was necessary to correct it. I am now two weeks post-op and feel great. I highly recommend him. His office staff is very helpful and professional.

My 96 year old grandfather was admitted to the ICU/Trauma facility at Medical City Plano after a bull on our ranch attacked him. He had 2 vertebrae fractured in his neck. Miraculously, he had no nerve damage or any other broken bones. But I wanted to take a moment to commend all the staff in the ICU. The nurses, Kayla, Jennifer, Christian, Hayley, and all the others (sorry I can't remember everyones name) were incredibly attentive, and took the absolute BEST care of my grandfather. They went above and beyond in EVERY SINGLE regard to make sure he was safe and comfortable. Dr. Belanger performed the surgery and he was phenomenal. The surgery was done flawlessly. Actually, All the staff said he was the best and he was. He called me both before and after the surgery. (Because of Covid of course) Grandaddy was home from the hospital within a few days! I truly could not have asked for better care than the teams who cared for him. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

LOVE THIS DOCTOR. He answered questions I haven’t gotten any other doctor to answer for me. Thorough, nice, spent time with me and gave me all the pros and cons on a surgery I need. He put NO pressure on me to have surgery. Best back doctor I’ve been to EVER.

A year ago, I couldn't walk 20 yds without stopping. I could neither play golf nor take care of my yard. I spent most of my time feeling depressed. I had three previous back surgeries and still had lower back pain tremendous sciatic nerve pain in my hips and legs and was headed for a wheelchair. I read that Tiger Woods had gone to Texas Back Institute for his successful surgery and decided to do the same. My problems were located at L 5 and S 1 . same as his. I learned Dr. Belanger saw patients in Denison which is close to my home. The procedure was called anterior lumbar interbody fusion and my surgery was in June 2019. In October, I was fully released to do whatever I felt like. I have no back pain, no sciatic nerve pain no hip pain. I never dreamed I could ever again feel so good. Dr. Belanger was positive, confident, very professional and quite personable as well. To say he gave me my life back may sound too dramatic, but I truly feel that he did.

I’ve dealt with a lot of Spine surgeons and dr belanger is by far the most gifted! He is trustworthy, diligent, and technically superb. Would highly recommend!

After years of dealing with rheumatoid arthritis, I was unaware of the gradual toll on my back. My lower back pain seemed just another painful symptom. Then, severe pain in my back and right leg began. MRI's confirmed my spine was curved and twisted, plus two complicating issues. Previous surgeries in my abdomen and fragile bones. Dr. Belanger would have to operate thru my back He suggested a rapid bone growth med before surgery for an improved outcome. Today my back and legs are painfree.

My husband has been a patient of the TX Back Institute in Dallas for almost 5 years. He has had several surgeries performed by Dr. Belanger in the last 3 years. We have found the people at the clinic (Rockwall, TX) to be very courteous and helpful. My husband suffers from degenerative back disease which has lead to many surgeries from his neck to his lower back. Dr. Belanger and his team have consistently worked hard to achieve the best result possible.

Don't go see this Dr. I had surgery with him and have had horrible results.

After years of suffering and seeing various doctors I finally was referred to Texas Back Institute. My back pain had gotten to the point of having nerve pain going down my lower back, buttocks and down left leg to ankle. Horrific pain! Dr. Ted Belanger performed surgery on my back.
