Worst doctor I have had in my life

Wanted to let everyone know that out of all of the doctor’s I have at UWMC and all of the surgeries I have had in my opinion I just had the worst video visit from this doctor. He was uncaring, flat and didn’t show concern for my problem. Dr Bushnell had me in tears at the end of our visit by not smiling nor being empathetic to my problems for sleep even after I related to him i was diagnosed with PTSD. Just the coldest worst bedside manner I have ever experienced with a doctor.

Dr. Bushnell knows his subject and is generous with suggesting options. He's the 4th sleep doctor I've visited over years of sleep apnea and I like him. True, he might not be the best person if one is looking to be entertained but I felt he was totally focused on my sleep issues. I felt confident he will be interested in finding solutions that would work best for me.

This doctor has no social skills. He doesn't seem to have the ability to relate to patients. I have never had an exam with a doctor who never made eye contact and this was a first.

Went to see him for chronic sleep issues, he thought I had anemia (even though I showed no signs of anemia) and ordered an expensive blood test. Also pretty rude.

No compassion, or empathy. Seemed to know nothing about what sleep disorders do to a patients mental or physical health. A neurologist that still only thinks that apnea is the only sleep problem, and knows no treatment for anyone else. Complete waste of time.
