The problem with this doctor is that she doesn’t respect her patients time. I frequently wait 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours AFTER my appointment to actually see her. This is very common and have had conversations with her other patients in the waiting area that have voiced their displeasure as well. I could understand this happening occasionally but it is constant. I’m going to look for another doctor that respects my time as well as theirs. She is obviously overbooked and doesn’t have any interest in correcting this.

I went in for cataract issues and chose to proceed with surgery based on declining clarity with my cataract. Dr. Cooney was very straightforward with my options and made it very clear how the procedure would be done. The results were perfect and the follow-up care has been great. The staff from reception to her PA's and nursing staff are very attentive to all of my questions recovery needs. I would recommend Dr. Cooney to anyone that has eye care treatment and surgical needs.

Extremely knowledgeable, competent and personable. Efficient. Doesn't "chat" or waste time, but asks if you have questions, gives good info, and makes excellent referrals to top-level specialists when appropriate. Both a generalist and highly skilled Specialist, herself.
