misled me about the availability of a procedure
Told me a medical procedure would be available to me within the time frame of my medical insurance, then left the clinic for almost 2 weeks. Refused my request to hand over my case to another doctor present at the clinic who could have kept track of the availability of this procedure while she was gone. After she came back from vacation she told me the procedure would not be available in the time frame of my medical insurance, due to the lack of hospital facilities. Thus, she caused the loss of almost 2 weeks of critical time during which I could have arranged for this procedure to be done at another venue while I still had full medical insurance coverage.

I visited Dr. Elliott for back pain. When some concerning results came back on the MRI, she took extra time to explain everything to me and to be sure I understood the followup care that I should seek. I found her to be very knowledgeable.
