Pars Defect
Dr. Paziones was absolutely amazing. Great bed side manner, extremely knowledgeable, and was spot on with how she could quickly repair my back with screws instead of a fusion even though I was borderline for the fusion. I highly recommend her for your back pain needs. pain free since day 1 after surgery

Massive lower back pain relieved!
Dr Pazionis and her staff are absolutely amazing. They listened to what was going on, and came up with a plan to take care of it. For more info: Over the course of the last 6 years or so my lower back pain became completely unmanageable. It became so bad that even standing for a 5 minute shower left me in tears and exhausted pain. 8 months post surgery I spent 4 days in Atlanta for DragonCon (Huge fan convention). During 3 of those days I averaged 25k steps and multiple hours standing in lines for various things. I had not one moment where my back hurt during those days. Not one. Pre-surgery I could not have done even half a day without being in pain for a week and needing to recover.Dr Pazionis gave me my life back.

Update on my November review.
I am eight months postop and doing terrific. I am still doing PT and Dr Pazionis is still watching over me. I had two spinal fusions in 13 months. I met Dr Pazionis after being referred. She spent several months investigating why things didn’t work out, we didn’t find anything but we did manage to build my bone up my strength up through PT and dietary changes to prepare me for my final Fusion. I have become her biggest fan . she has given me my life back. She is so darn smart and best of all she’s down to earth.

The Best Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Pazionis has taken the time to ensure that I felt safe throughout all aspects of my treatment, before surgery and post surgery care. She really takes the time to explain and answer every question I had no matter how many times I asked. Before surgery I was not walking properly and needed assistance. Dr. Pazionis surgery has helped me beyond belief and I'm feeling amazing and I'm so glad that I chose her. I can even jog now before the three month mark. I recommend anyone that needs and orthopedic surgeon, please see Dr. Pazionis, she will handle you with great care in your medical procedures. Thank you so much Dr. Pazionis for treating me and restoring my ability to walk and jog unassisted.

plan for my spine
I had several problems in my spine. For a couple of years I managed on my own, until I found Dr. Pazionis. She developed a plan that integrated endocrinology, rheumatology, and surgery. Very comprehensive. Every medical professional at Temple told me I was in good hands with Dr. Pazionis. Brian Neubauer is the Physician's Assistant who works closely with Dr. Pazionis. Brian is always availble for questions and listens to my concerns. At my firt post-op appointment, I am very pleased with the outcome. I enjoy working with the Pazionis/Neubauer team.

Dr Pazionis is the best! She gave me my life back
In 2018 my EMT career ended from a job related injury that completely collapsed my L5-S1 disc. Severe back pain followed me through nursing school, covid, and my first 3 years working as a nurse. It was debilitating, relentless and possibly permanent for all I knew. Dr Pazionis and her team made sure that didn’t happen. She is one of the smartest, most talented and thoughtful healthcare professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Each interaction with her left me feeling increasingly informed, at ease, and confident that I was receiving no less than the gold standard of medical care. Truly world class, the best of the best, 10/10 across the board, cannot recommend her highly enough!

Post op visit: My femur was surgically stabilized with hardware, I have stage 4 cancer with bone metastasis. When can a stage 4 patient say "my life has improved?" After Dr Pazionis has done your surgery! Pain is so much better, mobility and endurance also.

She's the Best!
I had a tumor (benign) on my right ankle. From Day 1, she made sure that I was okay and also made sure to schedule my surgery as soon as she could to remove it. On the day of the surgery, she made sure that I was okay and comfortable with the procedure. Explained everything in detail and made sure that all of my questions were answered. Even on the post-op visit, she made sure that I was okay and that my ankle was doing well after surgery. I am sure she will keep doing the same every time I have to attend the office. She is the absolute best, would definitely recommend her!

The Greatest Back Surgeon In Philadelphia, PA
Dr. Theresa Panzionis is one of the surgeons at Temple University Boyer Pavilon, and in my opinion, the absolute best back surgeon in Philadelphia, PA.. Dr. Panzionis performed the surgery on my lower back, and I have absolutely no complaints concerning the wonderful job that she performed. Not only is Dr. Panzionis a great surgeon, she's also a doctor who genuinely cares about her patients well being from start to finish, with the most awesome mannerisms, always professional, and a complete joy to have in your presence.
