The worst decision I have ever made. I found Dr. Abell patronizing, arrogant and dismissive of the overwhelming evidence of lens incompatibility confirming his sense of superiority over the uninformed. His office staff less than professional.

I went for a second opinion after dr Abell wanted to schedule surgery. He said I needed laser surgery to reduce glaucoma (I found out today I don’t have glaucoma). He wanted to schedule surgery for cataracts I don’t have. I would not trust him.

Went for under eye wrinkles. Never had bags under my eyes. I injected filler and had pools of blood bags They said it was normal. Came back months later and I had everyday giant drooping bags. It aged me by 20 years. They said it was normal. I suffered from depression because of this. I went to a top plastic surgeon in April 8 months later and he said never go to places like this. He said it wasn't my fault because I had no idea. To make my eyes even close to better would be about 7500. Plus the other cost. The sad thing is is the skin below my eyes was tight. I just had small wrinkles starting around the corner of my eyes. No clue why filler was even places below. I'm devastated

I had Lasik in 2002, cataract surgery in 2017 and again am completely out of glasses. I chose the upgrade package. He is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. I am very happy with the care I received!

BEWARE! I was rushed through, told I had cataracts, would need surgery. I got a second opinion from a very reputable eye surgeon, and .....I don't have cataracts! I DO have extremely good insurance and I can only suppose they attempted to scam me, with unnecessary surgery on my EYES. This place is TOTALLY UNETHICAL!

I went to the Eye Institute of Central Ky, which Dr Abell is also part of their team. I've been waiting to get my contacts and glasses six weeks. I don't have special lenses, that would take a long time. Normally I would get my glasses or contacts within 3 or 4 days. No at the Eye Institute, six weeks and still waiting.
