I worked with Dr. Ahlering in the Cancer Center at UCI many years ago.. He was outstanding the entire time then, as he has always been since. Patients are so very fortunate to have this exceptional physician both procedurally and interpersonally. He is an immensely gifted dr.

Today are exactly 27 years that you did a surgery to my husband, you started about 6:30am and it ended around 8:30 pm. We moved to Arizona and we always remember you and we pray for you. I do not recommend Dr. Ahlering. Terrible experience.

Dr. Ahlering operated on me five years ago. I had a Gleason score of 4x4. He has the skill to be honest, direct, and compassionate. My anxiety is always reduced following a consult. I do my PSA every 3 months and report to Dr. Ahlering. Prior to meeting him I had consults with numerous physicians, but by far, he stood out as the most competent, knowledgeable and caring of them all. Dr. Ahlering saved my life. After Dr. Greenberg promised to get me a few more years with heavy radiation I sought out Dr. Ahlering. I had a high gleason score of 4x4. Dr. Ahlering operated on me using the latest Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgical system and his own Phillips cooling system which meant less inflammation and blood lose as well as a quick and painless recovery. I've been clear of cancer for 7 years. I highly recommend him, best there is, period.

Dr Ahlering is a phenomenal person and surgeon. Of course any patient can say that and be in awe of their physician but as specialist physician myself, I can clearly say there is no one in this world as Dr Ahlering. He is excelling in every single professional category that he can possibly be evaluated by. His results are outside of the world. My personal results after radical prostatectomy are beyond any imagination. I cannot even tell my results to friends that had a similar surgery, because their results cannot be even compared. To be honest if I would have heard these results from a different source, I would have thought the patient exaggerated or not telling the truth. No one in the world did more in the last few decades for the improvement of surgical prostatectomy than Dr Ahlering. He is truly a God in his field and we are all feel beyond blessed for being touched by his magic hands.

Dr. Ahlering is a phenomenal physician - he is caring and very compassionate but most importantly he has a passion for the prostate health of every patient he sees. The staff support of Dr. Ahlering are also excellent; they are available 24/7 and have the ability to be in contact with Dr. Ahlering on a moments notice - it is truly a concierge type of medicine. Dr. Ahlering is very well versed in all the statistical results that he and other Urology Practices have accumulated. Finally the incontinent and impotent results of Dr. Ahlering are the best of any surgeon in medical practice - greater than a 92% success rate - which says it all. I had my surgery on a Wednesday morning and was up walking around that afternoon and went home the next day. The Catheter was removed the following Tuesday and I have had full bladder control ever sense.

After the initial paperwork and required documents our experience was nothing short of great. We were impressed by the fact of the consultation between Dr Alhering and my wife and I was uninterrupted and at no time seemed rushed or constricted by time. All our questions were answered with great details. From pre-op to meeting dr Richardson who helped my anxiousness through surgery to pathology reporting by the Dr Ahlering himself and even catheter removal was excellent.

Dr. Ahlering is a top doctor in all respects. I was lucky to find him. I believe his surgery skill saved my life and well being.

It is very rare that you get to see a world renowned surgeon like him to have this kind of genuine care for the average patient. After the surgery I was basically pain free and only took 1 Tylenol!
