I had a stroke in 2019. I was told that my carodit artery was full occlusion. My cardiologist referred him because he didn't like what he saw after my CT scan. I got in pretty quick. After several MRA'S Dr. Appleby didn't understand why this wasn't taken care of while I was admitted for a stroke. I'm so glad Dr. Appleby didn't give up on me. He performed a carodit endarterectomy and cleaned out that carodit. He is my hero. He was my dad and uncles doctor as well. I will sing his praises. If you ever have a need for a vascular surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Thomas Appleby.

Pickle juice

He he met with me for 5 minutes drying his hands. He told me he does not know what's causing the pain in my legs. He told me to drink pickle juice for the pain

Complications after Surgery

The follow up visit with Dr.Appleby after surgery was not good! I attempted to tell him about some serious problems that have d still not gone away, and I was totally ignored! The problems still there and I am still hurting! Terrible follow up after my surgery!

The team in place that schedules new patient consultations at Coastal VVC is not trained to be customer centric. I made an appointment for a consultation several weeks ago for varicose veins after finding it through DocFind. A receptionist called me last week & cancelled it because she said the Doctor would not be in that day. She then transferred me to a voice mail last Wednesady to reschedule. I left a message on Wednesday and called again on Friday & still have not heard back.
