Dr. Thomas Austin, MD

Dr Austin has been helpful every time I’ve seen him. I recently had to have my IUD replaced, and I was a nervous wreck. My first insertion (with a different doctor in another state) was horrible and excruciating, and I have a lot of anxiety regarding this procedure and really anything done at the OBGYN because of that experience. I was very panicky and scared at my IUD replacement appt with Dr. Austin, but he and his nurse were so patient and kind to me. I really appreciated that.

Dr. Austin is the best practitioner I’ve ever encountered. He genuinely cares about his patients and is a truly wonderful human overall. He helped me through 2 miscarriages and recently delivered our baby. We had lots of appointments, and I never once felt rushed or like any of my questions or concerns were brushed off. He welcomed and thoroughly answered all of our questions. By the end of it, we now consider Dr. Austin a friend. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, I always felt that my baby and I were getting the best care possible in his hands.

A man who shares pro-life beliefs while doing his part to bring beautiful life into the world is perhaps the most wonderful thing ever! Philanthropically speaking, he does his part. Kudos, Dr. Austin!

Dr Austin is very thorough, compassionate, and personable. He takes his time at each appointment to ensure all my concerns were addressed and questions answered. He's really down to earth and able to connect with his patients well. Unfortunately because of an awful experience with another doctor in the facility we will be looking for another doctor for our next child.

Dr. Austin was very patient and caring during my recent surgery. He treated me as a family member in addition to his patient.

Dr. Austin is FANTASTIC! he performed my cesarean 8 days ago. My scar is healing beautifully and barely hurts, my pain was minimal, and my recovery thus far has been a breeze. He was quick with all my appointments, patiently and thoroughly answered every one of my questions and was always happy and smiling. The staff and Sandhills was fun and professional, always greeting me by name and smiling. I would without a doubt recommend him and this office to anyone who will listen.

Dr. Austin performed my hysterectomy. Love this doctor! He took me in when my obgyn of 20 years didnt. He listened to my problems and spent time with me discussing a plan. Love that he openly talks about his faith as a Christian. Would highly recommend him.
