Great Dr.
He is super helpful when you are sick, and you need to get in to see him. He always makes time. He is responsive, very easy to talk to, and you trust he always has your best interests in mind. He gets to know you and truly cares about you as a person.

Dr Batchelor is compassionate and thorough. His bedside manner is pleasant, his medical knowledge is vast. He always follows up with lab work within the same day. His office staff members are efficient and hard working.

If you do get an appt, you may not see him or your appt may be canceled. This is as far as his self proclaimed “concierge medicine” as this doc can imagine. Rude dismissive staff. Poor care cost us a lot of $$$

Terrific practice, smart people, coordinated
Even during the pandemic, this has been an outstanding practice--and I've worked with hundreds of physician practices in multiple states. Dr. Batchelor has put together smart people--NPs, PAs--who coordinate extensively with him, and his personal focus on prevention and coordination make this an unusual practice. Other specialties needed by patients rotate through this practice or are in the same building. Very responsive, including quick responses to emails. Atrium patient portal as easy to use as any healthcare portal. Kudos to Atrium for allowing Dr. Batchelor to set up an unusual practice!

Avoid this office like the plague. I had been a patient there for 10 years. Recently the office staff has become a problem. I will never return her again.

Best Internist ever. Will get back to you within a few days re: blood results. Great staff hard to get initial appointment because he is in demand. Easiest Dr to talk to, takes notes, listens. Refers you as needed. Blood draw same day as appt. I'm diabetic, have asthma and hypertension for last 15 years. He's helped me manage all 3.

Based on my one visit, which took three months to schedule, Batchelor appears to be a good doctor. Atrium health has a major problem with staffing doctors... especially good doctors. Scheduling usually must be made several months in advance. If you have an urgent problem, you'll be stuck seeing PA or nurse.

This office & Dr Batchelor have changed drasticly in last couple of years. No personal touch, now calls do not even go to the office, they go to a call center. No longer can talk to the office. Tell you they are not allowed to pass you on to office manager. At the call center, the receptionist acceses the patients records. I AM NOT comfortable with that at all. I cannot comment on Dr. Batchelors care because it is very difficult to see him. Either PA or nurse is all I have seen in last 2 yrs.
