I went to the Emergency Room of Virginia Mason suffering severe abdominal pain. The diagnosis was complicated diverticulosis, and I was fortunate that Dr. Biehl was on ER call and became my surgeon. He first attempted to cure my diverticulosis non-surgically, but that procedure was not completely successful. He then recommended surgery and scheduled appointments to facilitate my travel from Anacortes. Surgery was completed a week ago, and I am well on the way to full recovery. GREAT doctor.
