Dr. Bloomenfeld performed a total hip replacement on my left hip two years ago. A better Orthopedic Surgeon, and staff would be hard to find. He is extremely proficient, personable, and takes every precautions needed for a successful outcome. He is an exceptional physician in every respect. Unfortunately he is no longer practicing in Sacramento. He has accepted a teaching position at Stanford, but has moved his private practice to Pleasanton California.

Because of his experience and talent I was referred because of a tumor on my hip joint replacement. I called after 3 weeks and was told that they needed diagnostic tests and images which I sent the next day. After another 3 weeks of hearing nothing I called and was told Dr. declined my referral 3 weeks prior. They are unhelpful, uncaring and don't have the courtesy to spend 2 minutes to call me.

Dr. Blumenfeld is a true throwback, to an era when physicians truly cared about their patients and treated them as important people regardless of their status. I cannot say enough of how much I respect this man. He took the time to see me multiple times after my hip surgery in the hospital to assure my comfort and well being. He is also a very thorough doctor, not relying on x rays but rather his own observations using x rays for confirmation of his findings. My family and I thank you deeply.

I had right-leg Total Knee Replacement surgery performed by Dr. Blumenfeld May 2014. This surgeon and his nurse, MaryPat, are incredibly proficient, compassionate, and patient. They BOTH make difficult situations proceed as smooth as possible. What a team Dr. Blumenfeld and MaryPat!

I had a knee replacement 10 days ago. I was completely at ease ONLY because Dr Blumenfeld has explained everything in advance. He is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever had. Move been a RN for 35 years so I've seen it all. I felt in my heart and my brain I was in the best hands possible. Me is a strong patient advocate also. There were a few hiccups in the hospital after surgery and he let those involved he was not happy with the situation - he is the BEST.
