I had had a tooth extracted 3 years ago so wanted him to remove this tooth also. I knew what to expect so he did not go into a lot of detail. I failed to find out if tooth came out completely or if I can expect parts to pop up later. But, I do know what to expect if that happens and I will make an appointment. My gal that got me all hooked up and helped me to appointment room was so nice. Forgot her name. Sheryl was assisted Dr. Was somewhat quiet but as I asked questions she opened up.

I currently have permanent left sided numbness after getting my wisdom teeth out 6 months ago. This alone is not why I'm leaving this review. I was dismissed by Dr. Carter and his staff. I told Dr. Carter on my second visit that I had lingering numbness and thought it was nerve damage. He dismissed me saying that was "very unlikely" since that tooth "just popped out" so easily. So he treated my pain (from the nerve damage) as a dry socket. I then had 3 more visits after and it wasn't until the last visit where he admitted it may be nerve damage. I wasn't given guidance on what to do next, how this would affect my face. I just called the office to let them know and allow them to track my outcome to help future patients. I was met with "well I'm not sure what you want us to do about it, this was a risk of the surgery you signed up for". I have never felt more unheard in my life.

Dr. Carter and his staff at Victoria Oral & Maxillofacial were beyond amazing. My experience was very Exceptional. The Staff there was friendly, the office was super clean, the Nurse was a sweetheart. Dr Carter is very professional and does amazing work. I personally wasnt your avaerage wizdom tooth removal (3) at once. I have had a pevious Mandible reconstruction which required some plates and screws to be installed that were really close to/touching the roots. He spent the time and did the necessary pre op checks he needed to decide that he was able to do it without removing the plates/screws. This morning i went in and had the best experience i have ever had being operated on. Its been 9 hours since the operation and im doing great very minimal blood and swelling. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. If your looking for quality work done in a clean professional enviroment go check them out.

Had complications and was the doctor was very evasive about answering questions. Follow up after the fact was less than desired as well. Not at all pleased with how the whole office clammed up and tried to hustle me out the door.
