Dr. Cook, with the utmost respect, listened to and answered the many questions I had pre and post-op of a femoral hernia repair. I would not hesitate to refer him to friend, family or use him again, if needed. The surgical process, aftercare and recovery were exceptional.

I selected Dr. Cook because I actually work with him at the hospital and I see his exceptional care and bedside manner. My office visit with him was extremely efficient. His office staff were pleasant, kind, and helpful. The Baton Rouge clinic is the most organized set up I have ever seen and I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years. I recommend him with the highest degree of recommendation!

Dr Cook repaired what was thought to be a hiatal hernia but was actually a tear in my diaphragm that my stomach protruded through. The tear had lots of scar tissue so it was challenging, but he did a great job. That procedure and the Nissan wrap cured several months of GERD symptoms and severe pain. Dr Cook has since performed a bilateral inguinal hernia repair on me. I would recommend Dr Cook to anyone. He is easy to talk to, explains thing so they are easy to understand and the staff in his office are very friendly and helpful.

Beside being very competent, Dr. Cook is very good with patient communication and attention to the patient's needs.
